Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

Al-Anon

Al-Anon is for people who’re worried about someone with a drinking problem. Meetings held Thursdays at 12:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene in the trailer across from the Church. Barry: 936-433-6131

Alzheimers Support

Bereavement Support Group

The Bereavement Support Group meetings are held at Horizon Home Health & Hospice – 560 N. 6th E. Meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6:00 pm and the 4th Saturday of each month at 10:00 am.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s Support Group

The Cottages and Treasure Valley Hospice of Mountain Home collaborate to offer a free Dementia & Alzheimer Support Group. All are welcome to learn about how to help a loved one with local support.

Elijah's Dinner Hour: Community Dinner

Community Dinners are offered with the help of the Idaho Food Bank and local organizations on the 2nd Monday every month. If you’d like to donate to the Food Pantry, make a donation to the poor box.

Elmore County Domestic Violence Council

If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, the ECDVC can help.

Family Strengthening Support Groups

Every Thursday from 12:30-2:00 pm at First Congregational United Church of Christ join for lunch followed by an hour long parenting class.

Grace Lutheran Food Pantry

Hope House

The Hope House is designed to be a short-term living arrangement to meet the immediate needs of individuals or families in our community who require urgent placement in the event of a crisis.

Narcotics Anonymous

The "Insanity to Serenity" meetings are held at the Parks and Rec building – 795 South 5th West. Meetings take place Thursday nights at 8:00 pm and are Handicap Accessible.

Society of St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry 

The Food Pantry, located at Our Lady of Good Counsel Hall, is open the 4th Tuesday of every month from 5:30-7:00 pm. Entry for the food pantry is on the side of the hall on the alley entrance.

Start Your Recovery

StartYourRecovery.org provides helpful information for people who are dealing with substance use issues — and their family members, friends, and co-workers, too. We know that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the challenges faced by those who misuse alcohol, prescription or illegal drugs, or other substances, and we aim to break through the clutter to help people at any stage of recovery.

Treasure Valley Hospice Smart Workshops

The goal of these workshops is to bring the community a different aspect of health. Meetings are held every 2nd Monday from 1:00-3:00 at American Legion Post 26. Contact Brandie 208-587-9779.

Veteran Assistance 

Veterans needing assistance with benefits and programs of the Department of Veterans Affairs and other military-related matters may contact the American Legion Post 26 Service Officer at 208-599-2839.

Community Roundtable 

Individuals come together the 1st Friday of the month to share ideas and resources to help those in need. Meetings held from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Department of Health and Welfare Conference Room.

Elks Lodge

Elmore County Optimist Youth Football and Cheer

Wild West Off Roaders & White-Knuckle Racing
